A New Queen of the Turf

Via Sistina on her way to winning the 2024 Cox Plate at Moonee Valley

As the Cox Plate is my favourite race in the Spring Racing Season, I headed out to the wilds of Moonee Ponds in order to watch the action and get a few photos of course.

Via Sistina won the Cox Plate by over eight lengths from Prognosis and Broadsiding.

I did intend to write at more length about my afternoon at the Valley, but typing this in the clunky blogger interface discourages me from expanding on the theme.

Let's just say that I'm delighted to have witnessed the new Queen of the Turf in action.
